May is a busy month!
8th grade will be going to Altitude jump park on May 15th. Students were given waivers for parents to complete. Please turn in waivers and $10 by May 12th. We will provide lunch. Extra waivers are in the office.
7th grade will go to Fayetteville Boys and Girls Club on May 18th. Students will participate in various activities. A change of clothes for swimming will be needed (one piece swimsuits or a cover up if a two piece for the girls, swim trunks or shorts for the boys). Please send $5 cover the cost. Lunch is provided.
When you purchase your backpack please know that LMS is implementing a clear backpack policy for the 23/24 school year.
Attention 7th/8th grade athletes
Tomorrow junior high athletics will not meet due to testing at LHS. Athletes should come to middle school.
Block 1- 7th/ 8th grade girls report to Coach Engel and 8th grade boys report to Coach Brewer. Meet in their room.

Tuesday, May 2nd is our final day to test ACT Aspire. Students will take 2 tests. Testing will begin first thing. Please encourage your student to finish strong.

This is a quick reminder that this coming Thursday is our Spring Band Concert! All students enrolled in band are asked to meet around 5-5:15 in the LMS auditorium to warm-up before we begin at 6pm. Students are also asked to wear concert black attire (all-black Sunday best) to perform in.

This event is for students and parents to plan out their high school classes for the next school year. This will be a drop-in event in the High School cafeteria. There will be a separate orientation night for students/parents as well at a later date.

LHS is presenting Seussical Jr. Our 4th grade will watch the performance on Thursday. 5th-8th grades will watch the performance on Friday. Students are asked to bring $1.
Friday is our monthly mentor challenge! Be present, be on track, wear tie dye and win the challenge.

Monday, March 13th, 2023 the Lincoln School Board approved a 4-Day school calendar for the 2023-2024 school year. We have attached the 23-24 school calendar below.
We believe this new calendar will be a successful and positive path forward for our district.
One main concern raised was about childcare. We are actively working on childcare opportunities.
