The LCSD was made aware of a possible threat to a campus within our district. Through immediate action taken and combined efforts, Lincoln law enforcement was able to contact and neutralize the threat. Local agencies have been notified and we believe the threat has been addressed. Additional security measures will be taken to prevent and protect all students moving forward. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the school and community in these matters.
Due to the incoming weather, we have made the decision to move field day inside. We are working hard to provide a fun field day regardless of location. Students will attend 1st and 2nd block as usual. 3rd block students will report to mentor teachers. We will have a great day tomorrow!
We can not believe it is the last week of school!

The next Pantry pickup date is Friday, May 17th, from 12 - 2 PM at LCSD Admin Office.

It seems we’ve been doing a lot of appreciating this past week and will continue that trend today!
This week is also National Nurses Week, and we want to give a huge shoutout to our nurses! The demands of this position can sometimes be overwhelming, especially during the cold and flu seasons, with kids being walking petri dishes. They are our frontline heroes, providing healthcare for the students. Whether they're tending to those sick in body and in need of help or those just sick of school work and looking for an escape, our nurses assess their needs and act accordingly, and we thank them for their efforts!
Happy National Nurses Week!

Lincoln CSD 2024 Yearbooks are in!

This week, May 6th - 10th, is National Teacher Appreciation Week, and we need to acknowledge the backbone of every district: the teacher! The position of the teacher has evolved over the years. Once thought of as only an educator, the role of a teacher has now morphed into a mentor, a therapist, a coach, an advocate, a collaborator, a motivator, and any other role they may need to fill in a child’s life. And sure, we’re biased, but we have the best bunch around, and we want our teachers to know how valued and loved they are for their jobs!
Happy National Teacher Week!
